I believe in clear, simple pricing, so you know exactly what you are getting before you ever book. Below you will find my senior session pricing, what is included and a few things to consider when comparing senior photographers in Waterloo, Cedar Falls and across the Cedar Valley.

The Signature Senior Session, $450
This is my most popular senior session. In up to an hour we will capture a mix of classic portraits, relaxed candids and close ups at one location, with time for two outfit changes. It is perfect for seniors who want beautiful, timeless photos without a long session.
The Ultimate Senior Experience, $750
This session is for seniors who want it all. With up to two hours and two locations, we can capture a downtown look and a nature look, bring in your car, horse, jersey or instrument and change outfits as often as you like. You also get help planning your locations and style, plus priority editing so your gallery is at the top of my list.
What Every Senior Session Includes
- Style guidance to help you plan outfits, colors and accessories, plus access to my senior wardrobe guide.
- Location help so you know exactly where we are going and why it works for your look.
- Posing guidance the whole time. No modeling experience needed. I will tell you where to stand and what to do with your hands.
- Edited images in my signature warm, natural style.
- A private online gallery link where you can view and download your photos, with print rights included.
You will notice I don’t promise a set number of images. Every senior and every session is different, and I would rather give you a gallery full of photos you love than pad it with extras.

How Booking and Payment Work
- Reach out with a few dates that work for you.
- Reserve your date with a $100 non-refundable retainer, which goes toward your session total.
- Pay the remaining balance on or before your session day.
I accept Venmo and cash. Sessions within 30 miles of Waterloo have no travel fee. For locations farther away, mileage is added at the IRS business rate.
Why Senior Picture Prices Vary So Much
If you have been shopping around, you have probably seen senior pictures priced anywhere from a quick mini session to full day experiences. A few things make the difference:
- Experience. I have been photographing seniors for 14 years, so I know how to help even the most camera shy teen relax and laugh.
- Time and planning. A longer session with more locations and outfits gives you more variety.
- Editing. Every image is carefully edited for color, skin tones and clarity.
- What you receive. Some photographers sell digital files separately. With my sessions, your gallery download and print rights are included.
