I have been behind the camera for 14 years, and I still get excited every time a session comes together. That moment when a nervous senior finally laughs for real. When a toddler runs back to mom mid pose. When a couple forgets I'm there. Those are the photos I live for.
I'm based in Waterloo and photograph families, seniors and celebrations in Waterloo, Cedar Falls, Evansdale, Hudson, Waverly, Cedar Rapids, Dubuque and all across the Cedar Valley. I'm happy to travel too. I know the best golden hour spots, the quiet corners of our parks and the places that make Iowa look its prettiest.
Why my sessions feel different

I went to school for Elementary Education, and having that background shows up in every session. I know how to make kids comfortable, keep little ones engaged and help teens relax when they would rather be anywhere else. No modeling experience needed. I will guide you every step of the way.
